We usually recommend a journey that touches a large part of the Maremma. Depending on on availability of time, we list you some of the municipalities among which you can move around exploring and tasting the best local food and wine:  Capalbio, Orbetello, Grosseto, l’Argentario, l’Isola del Giglio, Campagnatico, Scansano, Pitigliano, Manciano e Sorano.

What to try? You certainly know some labels: Bianco di Pitigliano DOC, Morellino di Scansano DOC, Ansonica Costa dell’Argentario DOC, IGT Maremma Toscana Bianco and Rosso (produced in the Grosseto province) and many others. All this is accompanied by numerous and different delicacies scattered in the municipalities previously indicated: think of the Tuscan IGP Extra Virgin Olive Oil, the Pecorino Toscano DOP (sheep cheese), and then arrive at the Maremma’s Saffron and the famous mullet’s Bottarga and other products from the Orbetello Lagoon.

Come and visit us in our farmhouses, we are close to Castiglione della Pescaia, a place particularly known for good food and excellent wine. It is no coincidence that in Castiglione della Pescaia fine DOC wines are obtained, such as “Botrosecco”, produced by the “Le Mortelle” cellar.
